THE SIMIEN MOUNTAINES
The Simien Mountain recognized by UNESCO as one of the world Heritage site in Ethiopia. It is an area of vast natural attractiveness. The Simien Mountain National park is one of the trekking routes in the Northern Ethiopia. Besides this Semin Mountain National park wide verity if flora and fauna like bird species as well as a few mammals inhabiting the Simien Mountains. The Lammergeyer, Lanner Falcon, malachite Sunbird, different species of vultures, Mountain Buzzard, Twany and Steppie Eagle, White billed and slender billed starlings, pallied Harrier and the beautiful spot breasted plovers and there are some endemic mammals The Walia Ibex and Gelada Baboons are one of the endemic mammals that we shall encounter.

THE BALE MOUNTAINS
The Ethiopian Rift system, which is part of the Great Rift valley, bisects the Ethiopian plateau into two parts:- The north western and the south eastern mountain chains. The Bale Mountain is one of the South eastern mountain clusters that has a variety of bird life. Many are found in the Bale Mountains including the Abyssinia catbird, Abyssinian woodpecker, Moorland francolin, Golden eagle and Africa snipe. In the mountains, we also encounter some of the endemic mammals like the Ethiopian Wolf, Mountain Nyala and Menelik's Bushbuck. Indeed, the number of Ethiopian wolf is more increasing in the Bale Mountains NP than in the Simien Park.
